Update Multiple Database Rows at Once

This is the handiest little Notion trick that everyone should know about.

There are times when you need to update many items in a database in bulk – sometimes dozens or even hundreds of rows at one time. Instead of manually updating each row one at a time, follow these steps:

  • Drag to highlight of the the affected rows
  • Right click, and select “Edit Property”
  • Choose the property that you want to edit
  • Enter or select the value

All of the highlighted rows will be updated with the new value!
